People, I’m in a panic. The international destinations that the DC-airports serve are increasing faster than I can check them off my list! I guess this is a good problem to have.
Even better, the newest destination is Edinburgh! I am married to a true-blooded Scotsman. Now, we can fly straight to the homeland without that little hiccup that is Heathrow.
This brings the international destinations served by DC-area airports to 58, and the 3rd destination in the British Isles, the others being London and Dublin.
According to the press release, flights from IAD to Edinburgh will operate daily from May 23, 2018, to October 4, 2018.
A quick Google flight search revealed a round trip price starting at $1,100, with the flying time of a 7hrs 15min.
